Shakespeare’s Texts Demystified: A First Folio Workshop for Educators

  • New Mexico Museum of Art 107 West Palace Avenue Santa Fe, NM USA (map)

Come learn about one of the world’s rarest books, the first collected edition of Shakespeare’s plays. Discover how to bring the First Folio to life in your classroom through dynamic theater activities, discussion, and hands-on bookmaking. Then plan a free field trip to see the Folio in February.

This two-hour workshop is designed for middle school and high school teachers, but teachers of elementary and college-aged students are welcome to attend. Participants will receive a workshop certificate, a bag of materials, and an educator pass to use at a future date.

Space is limited, so please register by January 8, 2016.
