international shakespeare center santa fe

The International Shakespeare Center Santa Fe has a number of projects on the boards in our town—some coming right up, some in the near future, and some ongoing. Join us in these explorations!

Monthly Shakespeare Talks: Enjoy a workshop, lecture, presentation, demonstration, mini-performance, or other provocative monthly happening. Join our Meetup.com site for regular announcements, or check our Events page.

Youth Shakespeare Festival: A day-long free public festival celebrating young people and Shakespeare. Students from five different Santa Fe schools are trained by professionals throughout the year to participate in the festival. Check out our site devoted to this project at www.YSFSantaFe.org.

iReadShakespeare • National Reading Initiative: Let’s read Shakespeare—out loud and in community.
This is an ongoing program to encourage adult reading groups. Our web site, iReadShakespeare.org, is filled with support and encouragement for Shakespeare readers.

ISC Press: We established our own small publishing company to develop our series of Shakespeare plays designed and edited specifically for reading aloud in a group.

ISC Video Channel: An ongoing project to film five-minutes scenes from all of Shakespeare’s plays in iconic Santa Fe locations.

Actor Development: A variety of acting workshops on various levels are offered regularly, including an opportunity to study with LAMDA in the United States.
