View the First Folio!

  • New Mexico Museum of Art 107 West Palace Avenue Santa Fe, NM, 87501 United States (map)

Shakespeare's large, hardbound collection of all the works in the canon is called the First Folio. Half of Shakespeare's plays were not printed in his lifetime, and we have no manuscripts of any of the plays, thus this book provides us with works that otherwise would have been lost forever.

This book is coming to Santa Fe for the month of February—this is amazing! It is a rare lifetime opportunity to see the book that had such a profound impact on the world.

Admission: $6 for New Mexico residents and $9 for non-residents.
Sundays are FREE for New Mexico residents with ID.
Wednesdays are also FREE for New Mexico resident SENIORS with ID.

Assist me, some extemporal God of Rhyme,
for I am sure I shall turn sonnet.
Devise, wit; write, pen;
for I am for whole volumes in folio!
